I was returning with my family after relaxing for 2days in Sanjan. To avoid excess rush in Saurashtra Express, we boarded 59040 Vapi Virar Shuttle from Sanjan to Virar and from Virar - Dadar, we boarded Saurashtra express since lots of crowd gets down at Virar. The Shuttle was running 20mins late and with 3 overtakes, it got further delayed to 40mins. The Overtake compilation can be seen as follows; 1) More than 2hrs Late Running 22954 Ahmedabad - Mumbai Central Gujarat Express with BRC WAP-7# 30510 furiously overtakes 59040 Vapi Virar Shuttle at above 100kph at Sanjan at 15:08Hrs. Gujarat Express was late due to block at Vaitarna/Saphale. 2) In next 6mins, massive BRC WAP-4E# 22356 with 24 coach 12926 Amritsar/Kalka Paschim Express overtakes shuttle at above 100kph at Sanjan. It was more than 3hrs late due to Fog and Smog in North India. 3) In next 4mins, 12284 Hazrat Nizamuddin Ernakulam Duronto Express with ERS WDM-3A# 16857R Overtakes Shuttle at Sanjan. Since Gujarat Express had a halt at next station Umargam Road, Paschim express was held up outside and as a result Duronto express had to slow down a bit since it didnt get a green signal. I coulnt expect anything better than this. 3 Superfast Trains with 3 Different Locomotives in short time.
